According to Ishikawa Prefecture and the Pok\u00e9mon With You Foundation, it will be the first airport in the world to carry the Pok\u00e9mon name.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-6-xl-font-size\">A Pok\u00e9mon-themed airport designed to boost tourism<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The airport overhaul includes large-scale Pok\u00e9mon decorations throughout as well as exclusive <a href=\"https:\/\/aerospaceglobalnews.com\/news\/ana-launches-novelty-pokemon-in-flight-safety-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Pok\u00e9mon<\/span><\/strong><\/a> merchandise sold in shops, themed food offerings and special transport links across the peninsula.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2xcLiui9IkU?si=lyLG79xFY2IGj-R4\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>The airport&#8217;s atrium will feature a two-story balloon display featuring Pikachu and an airplane, surrounded by Flying-type Pok\u00e9mon installations. Organisers say all 111 Flying-type Pok\u00e9mon discovered as of May 2026 will appear somewhere throughout the airport. Travellers are encouraged to catch them all.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-6-xl-font-size\">Pok\u00e9mon take over the terminal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Passengers arriving at the airport will find Pok\u00e9mon-themed signs, boarding bridges, walls and observation deck displays. Pok\u00e9mon has partnered with local governments and transport operators through the \u201cPok\u00e9mon With You\u201d initiative, which focuses on supporting children and communities affected by
